I found a couple of people on google that had cured their Multiple-Sclerosis (MS) by the power of thought, doing their personal work and adopting a healthier lifestyle - Bob Cafaro for example https://youtu.be/ZqoRGr3icTo.
At the time, my fiance Tamsin, was suffering from severe symptoms which were previously diagnosed as Fibromyalgia (FM)/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) and more recently reclassified as a dysautonomia.
She was fading away in front of me.
Loosing her eyesight, her hearing, she was bed ridden most of the time. When she did get up, her legs buckled underneath her. She had lost all sensation in her skin. Her bones and muscles ached constantly and had no energy in them. She had brain fog. Her heart was either racing like she had sprinted, or it would slow right down and all colour would drain from her skin.
She was going downhill fast and i realised i might not have much time left with her.
I asked her if she was willing to do whatever it took to fix her health issues - she said yes.
I asked her if she was willing to do her personal work - she said yes.
I walked her through some process' to explore what her fears were, what she thought about her body, how much she loved herself, being proud of herself, the people she needed to forgive and so on.
She started her personal work, to transform these limiting beliefs and within a couple of hours, her symptoms started to fade.
She did some more process' over the next few weeks and started chakra meditations, stretching and massage....and she became 99% symptom free.
She felt healthier, happier, more grounded and solid than she had ever felt in her life.
What was facinating for me, were the extra health benefits.
She had worn glasses, had Raynaud's (fingers going white when they got cold) and had a partially locked jaw since her early 20s - a few days after she started her personal work, her jaw made a cracking noise and now she can again fully open her jaw!
Her Raynaud's disapeared.
She realised that her glasses were far too strong and she could see more clearly without them.
Her knees had become unbearably painful in the 10 years leading up to Tamsins transformation. It sounded like someone grinding gravel in their hand when Tamsin walked up the stairs.
The pain stopped within a week and the grinding noise is fading.
I watched a miracle unfold in front of me.
By Tamsin changing her fundamental core beliefs about herself - by getting out of her head and back into her heart, AND unconditionally loving and accepting herself - it was changing her health beofre my eyes.
She now lives life in the moment, is full of joy and love and can set boundaries with people out of love and respect.
I realised the link between poor health and emotional health.
If we are in a regular or constant state of emotional unease - feeling inadequate, unsafe, unloved, lacking confidence, feeling the fear of getting things wrong etc, then our bodies will be under a constant strain as we flood our system with fight/flight or shutdown messages.
Our bodies are not designed to take this constant pressure.
And many people are under a reglar or constant emotinal strain.
When someone does their personal work, they feel happy, carefree, confident, open hearted and completely present - the body is no longer being forced into fight/flight/shutdown and health can be restored.
The 1% that was missing for Tamsin - was occasionally she would have a worry about something. She would go back into the old mindset of “I don’t have the answer – I don’t know what to do, i'm unless etc” and her body would respond instantly and her knees would feel weak, her brainfog would return and her eyesight would blur. She had trained her body over decades to shutdown when worried. This I believe is the root of autonomic nervous system disfunction.
As soon as she caught herself going back down the rabbithole she would stop what she was doing – lie down and say to the brain pattern “Hello friend. I don't need to do that anymore!” and to herself “you don’t need to worry, the answer will come when you relax and come back to your heart”
The symptoms would subside, she would relax and the answer would come,
The aftercare once a person has let go of limiting beliefs is essential - and for someone recovering from an auto immune issue - they mean the difference between being alive or bedbound. The brain and the body holds onto the old triggers and the body and brain keep trying to “RE-ACT” in the same way they have always done – to keep someone safe in the only way they knows how.
The trick is to catch your brain and your body in those moments and remind yourself that that response is no longer needed or helpful - and they will reduce and fade over time.
I decided to call this method of therapy “The Tamsin Method”. To honour the journey that Tamsin has been on and to acknowledge that her miracle of recovery helped me to see how my facilitation could help others with auto immune disorders.
I'm fasscinated to know if other people with auto immune disorders would benefit from this work.
